My Keepsake began with a simple idea: the things we wear can carry stories, and a souvenir can feel personal without looking like something from a tourist stand.
Born from a love of places and personality
My Keepsake is based in Prague, a city where history and everyday life constantly overlap. Gothic towers rise above tram lines, elegant architecture meets creative street culture and visitors collect moments in cafés, parks and streets that never appear on a standard checklist. That combination shaped our approach to design.
We did not want to reproduce landmarks in the most obvious way. We wanted to capture moods: Prague after dark, a relaxed drink with friends, the anticipation of a journey, the freedom of a road trip and the humour found in ordinary life.
Why the teddy bear?
The teddy bear is familiar across languages and generations. It can be nostalgic, sophisticated, adventurous or funny depending on how it is portrayed. In My Keepsake designs, bears become travellers, photographers, style enthusiasts and characters enjoying the moment. They make a story approachable while leaving room for the person wearing it to add their own meaning.
The After Hours Prague Bear T-Shirt presents a polished city-night character. The Czech Beer Teddy Bear T-Shirt celebrates an unmistakable part of local culture with a playful Prague scene. Other designs travel further—to coastlines, Italian summers and the open road.
From souvenir to everyday favourite
A keepsake should not spend its life at the back of a cupboard. That is why we focus on products people can use: T-shirts, hoodies and wearable designs that fit into an everyday wardrobe. The destination or message is part of the artwork, but comfort and versatility are what allow the memory to stay present.
Many of our pieces use organic cotton garments. We choose this direction because material, feel and repeat wear matter. A design only becomes part of someone’s story when they enjoy wearing it again and again. We also provide product information and care guidance so customers can choose the right fit and look after the garment.
Travel is more than a destination
My Keepsake is inspired by travel, but not only by famous places. Travel can mean taking the longer road, noticing a small detail, sharing a joke with someone or bringing a holiday state of mind into a normal week. Original ideas designed in Prague
